Join our book club
It’s here! Welcome to Pages with My Homegirls Book Club. This is a space made just for us to read, laugh, heal, and build community together. Inspired by the idea of homeplace, that sacred space where we feel belonging, safety, and joy, this book club is all about creating a home where stories of Black girls and women take center stage, and where YOU can pour back into yourself while building real community. This book club is open to everyone who wants to celebrate and uplift these stories. We'll engage through virtual meetups for our worldwide fam and in-person in Chicago for that face-to-face magic. If you’ve been craving sisterhood, joy, deep conversation, and books that leave you transformed, this is YOUR sign. Pull up, grab your books, and let’s grow together. Welcome home, sis.

What's Asè?
Asè [Ah-shay] is a Yoruba word that means “it is done.” This word is typically said after meditating. Personally, it connotes resistance. The energy that surrounds this word after I meditate is the energy I want this store to offer.
Think of this space as a sanctuary for those learning, growing, and evolving through literature created by Black, Indigenous, People of Color.
All BIPOC Stories.
All Truths.
All Love.
